# Research snapshot — 18 October 2026

These Markdown files preserve the local study's findings and qualifications, including per-file notes. They describe a 49-file collection, not all of NYC. Links to `evidence/` identify the original local reports and CSVs; those large raw files and the original models are not bundled. Generate a new evidence folder with `inspect_nyc.py` to inspect your own copies. `summary.json` preserves the aggregate numeric snapshot. Local machine paths were redacted for publication.
